Butlin's is set to introduce relaxed performances of popular shows and character appearances. This comes as a direct response to the high demand from guests. The relaxed shows will be introduced exclusively on Justin Fletcher Tots breaks from April 28 at Bognor Regis.
They have been designed to make entertainment more accessible for guests who need a different environment to enjoy live shows. The initiative is particularly aimed at children, young people, and adults with autism, learning disabilities, and other sensory or communication needs. During these sessions, the soft play area becomes a SEN-friendly environment with no music or moving lights and a smaller group of 50 children in the 200-capacity space.
(Image: Butlin's) The productions will be adapted to create a more relaxed environment. This will be achieved by utilising gentler sounds and increased lighting. The cast will also introduce their characters and the show, reassuring guests that the story is fictional.
The relaxed versions of the brand-new Snow White and Her Magnificent Friends pantomime, Peppa Pig’s Circus Celebration, and the Skyline Gang’s Beside the Sea will include these adaptations. However, Butlin's assures that these small adjustments will not detract from the fun and excitement of the standard shows. The initiative is particularly aimed at children, young people, and adults with autism, learning disabilities, and other sensory or communication needs.

In addition to the relaxed performances, Butlin's will also introduce relaxed character appearances on Justin Fletcher Tots breaks. These will be hosted in the Skyline Pavilion on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8.30 to 9.
30 am. Here, guests can meet their favourite characters, including Peppa Pig, Billy Bear, and the Skyline Gang, in a relaxed environment with no loud music or queues. The relaxed versions of the brand-new Snow White and Her Magnificent Friends pantomime, Peppa Pig’s Circus Celebration, and the Skyline Gang’s Beside the Sea will include these adaptations.

Alongside these new relaxed sessions, Butlin's has also introduced dedicated Quiet Hour sessions at the brand-new Skyline Gang Soft Play at Bognor Regis.
