Police are appealing to help reunite a lamb with its owners. Officers were sent to the New Bury area after concerns were raised for the animal. The lamb, which has a red paint marking on its body and a small green mark on the top of its head, has been recovered.

"This is an Easter appeal to help locate the owner of an estranged lamb. "Following social media posts and reports concerning the lamb, nicknamed by officers as 'Larry', surfacing in the New Bury area of the division, Bolton response officers conducted house to house enquiries before locating and recovering him.



"Larry has a red paint marking to his body and a small green marking to the top of his head. "At this moment in time, Larry’s owner has not come forward. "If you have any information that can assist in reuniting Larry to his mum and owner, please ring 101 and quote log number 0635-180425.
