Carlos Santana had to postpone a concert scheduled for Tuesday night due to the guitarist being hospitalized for dehydration. According to MySanAntonio.com , the San Antonio Fire Department responded to an incident involving an individual who fainted around 5 p.

m. on Tuesday. The guitarist, 77, was then transported to a local medical facility.

Santana’s manager, Michael Vrionis, posted the news on Facebook , citing that dehydration was the cause. “Out of an abundance of caution and the health of Mr. Santana, the decision to postpone the show was the most prudent course of action,” Vrionis said.

“He is doing well and is looking forward to coming back to San Antonio soon as well as continuing his US Tour. Thank you all very much for your understanding. The show will be rescheduled soon.
