Cash funds at the media firm owned by TV presenter, podcast host and model Vogue Williams last year rocketed to €3.75 million on the back of her successful podcast double act work with Joanne McNally . New accounts filed by the Dubliner’s Howth Media Ltd at Companies House in the UK show that cash funds more than doubled from £1.
29 million (approximately €1.5 million) to £3.22 million (€3.
75 million) in the 12 months to the end of July last. During the same period, the company’s accumulated profits increased by £191,139 (€223,130) from £2.46 million (€2.
87 million) to £2.65 million (€3.1 million).
The company recorded the increase in profits after declaring a dividend of £539,015 (€629,262) to owner, Vogue Williams. A note attached to the accounts states that revenue comprises podcast fees, brand ambassador fees and TV appearance fees. Today, Ms Williams is able to leverage the likes of her large Instagram following of 1.
1 million followers with well-known brands for lucrative ambassador deals. The accounts don’t disclose the revenues for the year as the company is not required to do so due to its size. Numbers employed by the business, meanwhile, increased from three to four.
The surge in cash funds for the firm followed Williams’ and Joanne McNally’s My Therapist Ghosted Me! becoming one of the hottest tickets in live entertainment, with sold-out shows across the globe. Figures released by trade industry Pollstar earlier this year show that the two generated €2.36 million at the box office from five sell-out shows across the 12 months at the 3Arena alone from November 2023 to November 2024 before a combined audience of 39,873.
The two launched their podcast in April 2021 and it now reaches 3.5 million listeners per month, while Vogue also had podcasts with her husband, Spencer Matthews and her sister, Amber Wilson. The Howth native has been able to translate the soaring popularity of her media endeavours into hard cash as the firm’s cash pile jumped by £1.
9 million (€2.2 million) or 148 per cent, from £1.29 million (€1.
5 million) to £3.22 million (€3.75 million).
The rise in cash was offset by the amount owed by debtors to the company declining from £1.49 million (€1.74 million) to a modest £18,296 (€21,358).
The company has consistently posted strong after-tax and dividend profits in recent years. The post-tax profit of £191,139 (€223,137) last year followed a post-tax and dividend profits of £1.13 million (€1.
32 million) in 2023 and this followed profits of £479,161 (€559,300) in 2022, £220,837 (€257,766) for 2021 and £287,842 (€335,976) for 2020. The 39-year old business woman - who celebrates a milestone 40th birthday later this year - lives in London with husband, Spencer Matthews and they have three young children together. The couple in the year under review paid out €2.
8 million for a family home in Howth. Ms Williams has registered her company in the UK, where her profile has soared in recent years through her TV work. Subscribe to our newsletter for the latest news from the Irish Mirror direct to your inbox: Sign up here.
