June 3, 1933 - February 12, 2025 Catherine M. Ward recently pasted peacefully with family at her side in Longmont CO. Catherine was born June 3, 1933, in Bethlehem, PA.
She attended school Masontown, PA., later attending nursing school in Pittsburgh PA. Catherine met her future husband Norman Ward while working at Roselia Hospital in Pittsburgh PA.
They were together almost 60 years, before his passing in 2014. They moved to Butte Montana in 1962 then moved to Carlsbad, NM in 1992 where she resided until 2022, finally moving to Longmont, CO. to be closer to family.
She is survived by her two children Elizabeth Lombardo (Nick) of Boulder, CO. and Norman Ward (Lisa) of Yukon, OK. and one grandson, Ryan Ward also of Yukon, OK.
Catherine was always active in her church, loved music and playing her guitar. She often played in the senior citizens band while in Carlsbad. Catherine also enjoyed working in her yard.
