Inter Milan star Marcus Thuram left Micah Richards red-faced after an interview with the Champions League star ended with the pundit being rinsed over his choice of suit

Micah Richards stormed off-set after a Champions League interview ended with him on the end of a joke. And the burn was so severe that the Premier League winner was left asking: "Why always me?". The CBS trio of Richards, Thierry Henry, and Jamie Carragher interviewed Marcus Thuram after Inter Milan reached the Champions League semi-finals.

A 2-2 draw at home to Bayern Munich in Wednesday's second leg secured a 4-3 aggregate win and set up another two-legged clash with Barcelona in the next round. Thuram - whose father, Lilian, played alongside Henry and won the World Cup with him in 1998 - refers to the Arsenal legend as "Uncle." The Nerazzurri front man explained why this is the case when Richards asked for an explanation, but then the conversation shifted to the team's fashion choices.

"Thierry, you have a very, very, very nice suit tonight," said the 27-year-old, per The Mirror . It was then that Carragher asked Thuram what he thought about the suits he and Richards were wearing. Both stood up from behind their studio desk for the French forward to get a better look.

However, his assessment of their outfits left a lot to be desired. Thuram confirmed he could see both English duo but commented that Micah's outfit looked "a bit tight." And that was enough to make Richards withdraw altogether.

Gunners great Henry and former Liverpool defender Carragher were visibly stunned when the latter burst into applause. That being said, Carragher might have been chuckling out of sheer relief that he was spared from such sharp humor. Attempting to lighten the mood, Thuram reeled Richards back into the dialogue with an apology, saying: "Why is it always you, Micah? I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

" It was then that Richards accepted the olive branch and joined back in, humorously questioning his own luck as he replied: "Why always me? I can't catch a break." Being the punchline isn't rare for the ex- Manchester City and England defender in his punditry roles. However, he typically cops friendly fire from his colleagues on set rather than the guests being interviewed.

Thuram seemed unconcerned about crossing professional lines as he didn't hesitate to roast his interviewer. And if Inter progresses further in the Champions League, spectators might witness more sparks between him and Richards. Simone Inzaghi's team will get to preparing for their semi-final opener at Barcelona on April 30.

The Nerazzurri's leading Serie A scorer, Thuram, has bagged 14 goals in the league so far this term but is hoping to improve a return of only three in Europe..
