New Delhi: Sushmita Sen’s former sister-in-law Charu Asopa, who was seen selling a salwar suit online, has clarified that she is not in a financial crisis or living in ‘extreme poverty’. She also clarified that she has moved to Bikaner from Mumbai, which was a personal choice and as a mother, her priorities have shifted.
She said that she can travel to Mumbai for work whenever needed, and while she won’t be doing daily soaps, she hasn’t quit acting. On the other hand, her ex-husband Rajeev Sen claimed that Charu Asopa has no financial crisis and that she has been exploring real estate in Bikaner. She further added that she is leaving Mumbai because her priorities have changed and she wants to focus on her daughter, saying, “Mumbai is an expensive place. If I’m not doing daily soaps, then there is no point in staying here.
” She further slammed the people who pitied her for selling clothes online and clarified that it was nothing of that sort. She then reacted to Rajeev Sen’s claims and added that she is exploring buying a property in Bikaner on loan to get her daughter admitted to a good school. What did Rajeev Sen say? Rajeev Sen told Hindustan Times, “She could afford a cruise trip with her brother and his wife—which is pretty expensive—and she paid for everyone’s ticket.
Where does this financial struggle come into play?” He further added, “She’s looking to buy a house in Bikaner—or maybe already has—which takes serious money. Even with a loan, buying property isn’t cheap. Plus, if she’s managing cruises and her regular shopping—as seen in her daily vlogs—it clearly shows she’s not struggling financially.
