Adina International pageant veterans Chelsea Fernandez and Kirk Bondad took home awards at a recent event with the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines and 2025 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide candidates. The two were declared as Mister and Miss Arete Tagaytay at the Bridal Fashion Show of designer Albert Andrada, style director of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization, held in Tagaytay City on Tuesday evening, April 22. Bondad was a semifinalist in the recent staging of the Mister World contest held in Vietnam last year, while Fernandez was in the Top 15 of The Miss Globe pageant in Albania in 2022.
The male model and content creator was also proclaimed as Eventique Manila’s Pick among the contenders in the men’s competition during the fashion show, while international model Eloisa Jauod from Laguna was the pick among the candidates in the female search. Twenty-one delegates from the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines pageant and 10 contestants from the 2025 Mister Pilipinas worldwide walked down the runway in the fashion show. Several other seasoned aspirants from the two national competitions also walked for the designer aside from Bondad and Fernandez.
The men were paired with the ladies, while several other women walked solo. Among those who appeared in their bridal elegance were 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez, 2017 Miss Supranational finalist Chanel Olive Thomas, 2018 Miss International first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo, 2019 Miss Asia Pacific International second runner-up Jessica Cianchino, 2019 Reina Hispanoamericana Quinta Finalista Katrina Llegado, and 2023 Miss Earth-Air Yllana Aduana. From the male search, the veterans were 2024 Man of the World first runner-up Kenneth Cabungcal, 2023 Mister Tourism World first runner-up Jether Palomo, 2023 Mister Fitness Supermodel Word third runner-up Michael Angelo Toledo, and 2017 Mister International finalist Raven Lansangan.
The 2025 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide final competition will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City on April 28, followed by the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines preliminary competition in the same venue. The coronation show of the pageant for the women will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 2. The winner will be sent to the 74th Miss Universe competition in Thailand in November.
