Shares 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Wuchang: Fallen Feathers , the upcoming fantasy souls-like title by Chinese developer Leenzee and published by 505 Games , has landed a July release across console and PC, alongside a new trailer detailing the game’s pre-order and deluxe edition goodies. Set in the late Ming Dynasty, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will follow its titular heroine, Wuchang, a pirate warrior struck by amnesia and afflicted with a horrific feather disease. According to the game’s description , players will engage in its brutal souls-like combat, utilising a variety of weapons from swords, polearms, and hammers, “mastering new skills harvested from fallen foes” as they learn new techniques to overcome all manner of foes.
From its trailer, the game seems to adopt the standard combat affair of the genre, requiring skilful timing of parries and dodges to counter attacks, while learning an enemy’s attack patterns to identify openings. The game is also set to employ a choice-based system in its narrative, and will feature multiple endings. The game is now available for pre-order, offering early birds (no pun intended) with the Night & White content pack, which includes two contrasting costumes, a Vermillion War Club weapon, and a Glistening Red Mercury skill upgrade Item.
For those looking for more costumes and weapons to deck out their feathered heroin, the game’s deluxe edition will come with four additional costumes and weapons in addition to a Blood of Changhong skill upgrade item. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be released on 24 July 2025 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will also be available on Game Pass.
