LAHORE: - A violent clash broke out at Services Hospital, Lahore, resulting in injuries to two doctors, including a senior registrar, after police officials allegedly assaulted medical staff inside the Outpatient Department (OPD).

LAHORE: - A violent clash broke out at Services Hospital, Lahore, resulting in injuries to two doctors, including a senior registrar, after police officials allegedly assaulted medical staff inside the Outpatient Department (OPD). According to hospital sources, the incident began when an attendant engaged in a dispute with doctors on duty. Following the argument, the attendant called his brother, a sub-inspector, to the scene.

The sub-inspector reportedly arrived with additional police personnel and proceeded to physically assault the doctors present in the OPD. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, clearly showing police officers manhandling andattacking the doctors during the altercation. Hospital administration later intervened and managed to settle the dispute between the attendant and the doctors.



However, the violent episode left two doctors injured one of whom sustained a fractured finger. In response to the incident, Services Hospital administration expressed deep regret and stated that strict action would be taken against those involved in the unfortunate event. The medical community has condemned the attack and called for accountability to ensure the safety of healthcare professionals in the future.
