"Southwest winds with gusts of 20 to 25 knots will prevail through the day today," according to the aviation section of the National Weather Service update. Harry Reid and other regional airports will need to adapt to part-time wind shifts and the occasional cloud cover at elevations above 10k feet AGL, with the rest of the southern Nevada, northwest Arizona, and southeast California areas experiencing breezier conditions. The National Weather Service also calls for spotter participation, urging them to report any significant weather occurrences or impacts as they unfold.
