Positioning it in a global financial hubThe Commercial Bank of Ceylon has expanded its global presence by opening a Representative Office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the leading financial hub in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region.Licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the office will serve as a key liaison for the Bank’s regional clients, including Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian businesses operating in the UAE.Commercial Bank Chairman Sharhan Muhseen stated, “As the first Sri Lankan bank in DIFC, this move aligns with our strategic vision to support customers’ international ambitions.
