Comedian Jenny Eclair brings new show to Poole

In celebration of the release of her memoir, Eclair will perform at Lighthouse on Thursday, October 16. The show will see the comedian, author, and podcaster reflect on her life and career, including her experiences at drama school, relationships and her struggle with anorexia. Eclair will also reminisce about becoming the first woman to win the Perrier Award, as well as her roles as a mother, author and podcaster.

Lighthouse has warned that "punk poetry, animal impressions and baritone nursery rhyme singing may feature" in the show. The comedian, who has been performing for more than 40 years, invites audiences to join her in looking back at her life. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, April 25, at 10am and can be purchased online or by calling.
