Teams are projecting him to be able to play multiple positions if needed because of his movement ability in space and size. Etienne only allowed five career sacks, 17 hits, and 38 hurries on 1,275 pass blocking snaps. He was also a disciplined lineman in college with only five career penalties called on him.

The Commanders made a lot of moves this offseason, but still lack true long-term depth at tackle. Washington could draft Etienne and let him develop as a tackle at either side of the line, and use him as a guard in case of emergency due to injuries. This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: Washington Commanders met with athletic OT Caleb Etienne.
