Conway Corp promotes Ragland, Hudgens

Conway Corp recently announced the promotion of David Ragland to Apprentice Lineman 1 in the Electric Department. Ragland is participating in a four-year apprenticeship program through the Missouri Public Utility Alliance to become a journeyman lineman. The program includes classroom instruction, correspondence coursework and extensive hands-on training.

Apprentices must also complete monthly and annual exams and attend immersive skills workshops, such as pole climbing, pole top rescue and bucket truck training at the National Utility Industry Training Fund facilities in Kansas City.
