A Conway man is set to spend the rest of his life in prison for attempting to kill the mother of his child.

A Conway man is set to spend the rest of his life in prison for attempting to kill the mother of his child. A Faulkner County jury on Wednesday found Peter Ayika, 44, guilty on counts of attempted capital murder, aggravated assault on a family or household member and first-degree terroristic threatening. The jury also found that Ayika committed the crimes with a firearm and in the presence of a child, sentencing him to life in prison for attempted capital murder and two separate 15-year prison sentences for aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.
