Clouds linger around the region for much of a cooler day, as northwest winds keep highs near 50° this afternoon.

After a mild weekend around the region, the cold front that slid through last night is keeping the start of the week a little cooler around Rochester. Highs top out near 50° with winds blowing in out of the west-northwest at 15-30 mph for most of the day. Through the afternoon and evening, a few showers do look to slide through the region, but most will remain a little further to the north.

Tomorrow will see highs warm up a little, with mostly sunny skies, but a northwest breeze yet again will keep temperatures in the 50s. Wednesday is when we finally see that wind calm down and shift to out of the southeast. That will usher in another day with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 60s by Wednesday afternoon.
