Cooler, damp, and windy for the start of the week

Showers and a few wet flakes make their way out, but northwest winds will keep temperatures cool.

We'll see a return of cooler weather for most of the area, with a small chance for showers farther away from Lake Superior. A few spots will be chilly enough to bring some wet snowflakes with no accumulation. Winds will be 20-30 mph out of the northwest, with some stronger gusts.

ADVERTISEMENT The return to warmer temperatures will be slow through the week. Highs stay in the mid-40s for Tuesday and Wednesday, with gradually clearing skies. Temperatures will approach 50 for parts of the region Thursday.
