FAIRFIELD — Matteo Copp went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI Thursday, leading the Solano College baseball team to a 10-7 win over Napa Valley. The Falcons have won the first two games of the series. Solano is 17-21 and 9-11 in the Bay Valley Conference.
The regular season finale is today at 1 p.m. at Napa College.
Bryce Alcantara added two singles, a triple and two RBI in the win. Cayne Hill singled, doubled and drove in a run. Cameron Taylor, Mason Sayre, Tyler Chalk and Rolando Ramos added hits.
Chalk hit a double. Sayre and Isaiah Pazmino drove in runs. Solano scored nine of its runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings.
Eli Blurton pitched five innings and allowed six hits, three earned runs and three walks to go with one strikeouts. Daniel Rios picked up the win with his two innings of work, allowing two hits, one earned run and two walks. Grant Genter pitched in relief and Nick Kaumbulu picked up the save.
