LAHORE - Coaches Team International (CTI), a prominent US-based sports organization, has joined hands with the Federal Basketball Association (FBBA) to launch an international basketball training camp in Islamabad. The high-performance camp, which began this week at Bahria University, is set to run until April 28 and is being led by renowned American coaches Luke Elie and Jacob Kim. It aims to nurture young talent in the capital with advanced, globally-recognized training techniques.
The initiative is being spearheaded by FBBA General Secretary Ouj E Zahoor, who hailed the program as a game-changing opportunity for local players and coaches alike.“This is a rare opportunity for our youth to learn from international professionals who bring deep insight into the modern game,” said Zahoor. “It also equips our local coaches with the tools to carry this legacy forward.
” A handpicked group of promising young athletes is receiving rigorous training under the supervision of the CTI coaching duo. Simultaneously, five local coaches are being mentored, ensuring the sustainability of international standards well beyond the camp’s conclusion.
