Rwandan professional cyclist Kevin Nshutiraguma has parted ways with Kenyan cycling team, Team Amani, by mutual agreement. The 19-year-old joined the club at the beginning of the year, having previously raced for Cine Elmay/Rafiki Bike Cycling Club, where he began his cycling journey. He cited Team Amani’s failure to honour their agreement regarding payment and equipment provision as reasons for his departure. He has since returned to his former club, Cine Elmay/Rafiki Bike Cycling Club. Nshutiraguma is considered one of Rwanda’s most promising young cyclists. In 2024, he secured third place overall in the Rwanda Youth Racing Cup, collecting 166 points across eight races. In January, he also placed third in the Heroes Cycling Race 2025, taking first place in the Under-23 category.
