SUKKUR - Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sukkur, Dr. M.B.
Raja Dharejo on Friday chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming polio eradication campaign, scheduled to start on April 21. He mphasized the need for a comprehensive plan to ensure the campaign’s success and instructed officials to focus on door-to-door coverage, rather than just visiting doorsteps. Dr Dharejo stressed that polio eradication is a national duty and directed authorities to motivate workers, reward good performance, and penalize poor performance.
He also instructed police to assist polio teams and ensure coverage of all areas, including bus terminals and railway stations. The campaign aims to immunize all children under five years old, and officials were directed to develop an app to track progress and ensure all children are covered.
