“I look forward to working alongside dedicated educators, engaged families, and inspiring students as we continue to build on the school’s strong foundation of academic achievement and character development. Together, we will create a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive.” Originally from Southern Illinois, Wilson relocated to South Carolina in January 2024 to serve as the founding principal of Summerville Preparatory Academy.

He and his wife, Casey, are proud parents to two daughters, Ella and Hannah. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Wilson to Team Dorchester,” said Superintendent Chad Daugherty.
