Delhi sees warm and dry day, no relief in sight as temp could rise

New Delhi: The capital experienced a partly cloudy sky with another dry and warm day. The daytime temperatures dropped slightly and are expected to decrease further on Sunday. At the city's base weather station, Safdarjung, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.

The IMD has not issued any heatwave warning for the next six days. "A fall by 2-4°C in maximum temperatures during the next 48 hours and a rise by 02-03°C thereafter over Delhi," IMD predicted. Sunday is expected to have a partly cloudy sky with surface winds of 10-20 kmph.
