Details of new train timetables from this weekend after Great Victoria Street station closure

From Saturday 11th May, Translink is introducing a revised train timetable which will operate until the autumn.

Train timetables will change this weekend following the closure of Belfast Great Victoria Street station (Image: Translink) Translink is introducing a revised train timetable from this weekend after the closure of Great Victoria Street station as part of preparations for the new Grand Central Station. The new timetables will come into effect on Saturday, 11th May, which will operate until the autumn. The last passenger train will leave Great Victoria Street train station this Friday, May 10, to connect the new rail line to Grand Central Station at Weaver's Cross.

The Europa Buscentre will remain operational until the new station opens. From this weekend, the rail line will remain open throughout Belfast but will no longer serve Great Victoria Street Station.



For any passengers currently using Great Victoria Street train station, Translink have advised using other nearby stations including York Street, Lanyon Place, Botanic , or City Hospital. Bus substitution services will also be operational. A number of road closures will be in place around the Great Victoria Street area over the com.
