Detroit residents can expect a mixture of sunny and cloudy skies with intermittent showers over the next week. Today, Detroiters will enjoy clear skies with highs around 55 degrees and a gentle east-northeast wind. However, as the night approaches, clouds will increase, ushering in a low of approximately 39 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service predicts a 40% chance of showers before 2 p.m. on Sunday, followed by mostly cloudy conditions and steady temperatures.

The onset of the week will see a continuation of chance for showers, particularly before 2 a.m. on Sunday night, with lows dipping to around 47 degrees.

Monday's outlook is variable with a possibility of more showers post 8am and partly sunny skies reaching near 67 degrees. This warmer spell is to be accompanied by brisk south winds that could gust up to 28 mph. For those heading out on Monday evening, the skies will clear partially, and temperatures are expected to descend to a low around 42 degrees, as stated by the National Weather Service.

The forecast calls for mostly cloudy days this week, with highs in the 40s—like Tuesday’s expected high of 49—and lows in the mid-30s at night. Wednesday should be a nice break, with mostly sunny skies and a high around 54. Rain is likely to return Thursday and Friday, with warmer, mostly cloudy weather and highs possibly reaching 64, according to the National Weather Service.
