February 19, 1963 - April 19, 2025 Diane Elaine Sievers, age 62, of Dixon, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
, Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church in Calamus, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.
, Friday, April 25, 2025, at the church. Burial will take place in Dixon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Dixon Fire Department, Dixon American Legion or Faith Lutheran Church.

Diane was born on February 19, 1963, the daughter of Richard and Violet (Doddema) Johnson. She graduated from DeWitt High School with the Class of 1981. After graduation, she attended the University of Northern Iowa and Kirkwood Community College.
Diane married Lonny Sievers on April 13, 1984, at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt. Diane worked for 20 years as an Administrative Assistant with the Pioneer Microbial Genetics Division in Durant. Following that, she continued to share her talents at River Valley Coop in Clarence, managing office duties and feed orders, until her retirement in 2023.
A proud member of Faith Lutheran Church, Diane's faith guided her throughout her life. She was also active in her community, serving as a dedicated member of the Dixon Fire Department and as Treasurer of the Dixon Cemetery. Diane found joy in life's simple pleasures; she loved playing cards with friends, trying her luck at the casino, and dancing to her favorite music.
Her laughter was contagious, her spirit bright, and she never missed a chance to attend her grandchildren's events. Diane will be dearly missed by her husband, Lonny; a daughter, Brittany (Eric) Hoffmann of Dixon; three grandchildren, Grant, Olivia and Owen; two sisters, Michelle Reimler of Eldridge, Iowa and Karen Hogan of Ganado, Texas; sister-in-law, Rachael Johnson of Rhodes, Iowa; and a brother-in-law, Danny Howe of New Liberty, Iowa. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Vi; a son, Blake Sievers; a brother, Kendall Johnson; a sister, Bobette Howe; one brother-in-law, Charlie Hogan.
