With rumours of an upcoming teaser trailer for the final season, fan accounts have once again caught Netflix confirming the release date of the show, and it is set to release around the holiday of Thanksgiving. Here's what fans were able to figure out.
Stranger Things Season 5 release date in November 2025? According to the X account @hawkinshappens, Netflix has been issuing copyright claims for several fan accounts on the social media site after a rumoured poster, set pictures, and character art from the last season of Stranger Things were leaked. The account posted, "Did Netflix just mess up?! Due to the recent leaks, Netflix has been issuing DMCA takedown reports. In these reports, Netflix has included the following release date: November 27th, 2025.
" The handle also shared a picture of the copyright claim, which stated, "Please be advised that Stranger Things Season 5 is scheduled for official release on November 27, and the material in question constitutes an unauthorized pre-release disclosure. The distribution of this content is a clear and serious infringement of our client's intellectual property rights and may result in substantial commercial harm."
