Vehari - The District Administration Vehari held two key meetings focusing on addressing the grievances of overseas Pakistanis and reviewing progress on land partition reforms under the Punjab Land Record Modernization (PLUS) Project. Both sessions were chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Syed Usman Munir Bukhari.During the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee meeting, five complaints submitted by overseas citizens were thoroughly reviewed.

ADCR Usman Bukhari issued directives to concerned departments for immediate resolution of matters including property unfreezing, inheritance claims, and allotment of 5-marla plots. Action was also ordered to address a pending property dispute (Wanda case). He highlighted the crucial role of overseas Pakistanis in strengthening the economy and emphasized that their issues must be resolved promptly.



The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Ghazala Kanwal, Deputy Director Information Mian Naeem Asim, ADPP Muhammad Tariq, ADA Maqbool Ahmed Bhatti, and Tahir Ehsaan from DPO’s Complaint Cell.In a separate meeting regarding the PLUS Project, Divisional Coordinator PLUS Multan informed that land partition activities in all villages of Vehari will begin after May 1, 2025. ADCR Usman Bukhari expressed satisfaction with the performance of revenue staff and urged faster division of joint land holdings.
