Asda has issued a recall of its Simple To Cook Asian Inspired Pork Belly Slices due to possibly containing undeclared ingredients

Asda has issued an urgent recall for one of its dinnertime items due to the possibility of it containing undeclared ingredients. The supermarket has put out a notice for its Asda Simple To Cook Asian Inspired Pork Belly Slices. This is because they may contain milk and sulphites, which are not mentioned on the label.

Some of the items were mispacked with Asda Simple To Cook Tomato & Mozzarella Pork Meatballs, which has caused the notice to be issued. "These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product." They added: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat it. "Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

" What is a product recall? If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
