Coastguards were called to rescue a dog which had fallen off a cliff edge. Yesterday afternoon (April 18), Eastbourne Coastguard were called to Cow Gap in East Sussex. Crews were able to successfully rescue a dog which had fallen over 200ft off the cliff’s edge.

Eastbourne Coastguard has reminded the public to stay vigilant and keep dogs on a lead, particularly when near cliff edges. In an emergency, the public can contact the coastguard by calling 999.
