A blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier, rescued from a traumatising situation, has found a loving forever home in Brighton

A blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier was found next to his owner's body ten days after they died. The highly resilient Staffie was found after his first owner passed away, leaving him alone in the room with his lifeless body for approximately ten days. When he was finally found, Balla was extremely thin, weak, confused, and mourning the loss of his companion.

That was when Steve and Wendy Rose, heard Balla’s story and felt compelled to help. Without hesitation, they welcomed him into their home. Wendy said: "He had clearly been through something no animal should experience.

" Balla took time to adjust to her new surroundings and his new owners hope that a dog behaviourist may be able to help with his recovery going forward. Wendy said: "Even though he struggles in some areas like with neediness, he has already come such a long way. "He loves his walks along the beach, curling up under a blanket, and being part of everything we do.
