What are Dolphins’ draft needs for Day 2? Jalen Ramsey is on the trading block. Kendall Fuller is gone. With last year's starting corners out of the picture, the Dolphins need help at the position.
They could have taken Texas Jahdae Barron or Michigan's Will Johnson but decided to address the defensive line first with Michigan defensive lineman Kenneth Grant. GM Chris Grier acknowledged the need at cornerback but as noncommittal on prioritizing it over other positions or best player available when Miami is next on the clock. Taking a safety this weekend seems logical now that Jevon Holland is with the New York Giants .
The Dolphins have made upgrading their offensive line a priority. Liam Eichenberg was brought back, but the Dolphins are hoping to lean on him for versatility and depth, not necessarily as a starter.
