rapplerAds.displayAd( "mobile-middle-1" );MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) ordered the suspension of bus company Solid North Bus on Thursday, May 1, following a fatal accident along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).“Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has ordered the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to immediately issue a suspension order against Solid North Bus, following the fatal road crash in SCTEX earlier today,” the DOTr said on Thursday.
According to an ABS-CBN report, at least 12 people died in the crash.The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said the collision occurred at around 12:18 pm at the SCTEX Toll Plaza northbound lane.Aside from the bus, the PRC said the crash involved three SUVs and one container truck.
