Vehari - A meeting of the District Quality Control Board was held to review 15 cases related to medical stores. Following detailed discussion, six cases were referred to the Drug Court for prosecution, six received warnings, while two were placed under observation. Chairing the session, Deputy Commissioner Imrana Touqeer stressed that no one is above the law.

She ordered indiscriminate action against medical stores involved in illegal activities, including selling expired or counterfeit medicines and operating without proper records. She emphasized that stores without licensed staff must face strict legal consequences.It was further directed that unlicensed outlets be closely monitored and that operations against quacks be intensified to safeguard public health.



The meeting was attended by CEO Health Dr. Fahad Waheed, MS DHQ Hospital Dr. Mian Ahmad Faraz, Secretary DQCB Imran Rasheed, Deputy Director Information Mian Naeem Asim, and Drug Inspectors.
