Dubai's Emirates NBD beats profit estimates on higher interest income, loan growth

DUBAI, April 22 (Reuters) - Emirates NBD (ENBD.DU) , opens new tab , Dubai's biggest bank by assets, beat estimates for first-quarter profit on Tuesday, helped by strong growth in loans and interest income. The lender's net profit came in at 6.

2 billion dirhams ($1.69 billion) for the three months ended March 31, compared with 6.7 billion dirhams in the year-ago quarter.
