The Philadelphia Eagles aren't being talked about like the Cleveland Browns are as far as a crowded QB room. That's mostly because the Eagles know exactly who their starting quarterback is already. They've got something in common with the Browns, though.
Someone probably has to go. It's pretty much impossible to carry four QBs into the regular season, so the Eagles probably have a cut or trade coming. It wouldn't surprise FanSided's Jack Beckman from seeing Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the guy who gets let go.
That'd be despite trading Kenny Pickett to get DTR. "This is pretty cut-and-dry: Dorian Thompson-Robinson is not a good quarterback," Beckman said, "and it’ll be easy for Kyle McCord (sixth-rounder from Syracuse) to take the QB3 job." That role will come behind Tanner McKee, who impressed fans during his 2024 season's limited action. It's a good problem to have for the defending Super Bowl champs, who can never have too much room for error. Overall, that should spice up the second and third round in a different way.
It'd be a tough fall for DTR, who started for the Browns in 2024 and won't even be with the Eagles in 2025.
