Educational policies will make India a developed country: AICTE chairperson

Pune: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) chairperson T G Sitharam on Tuesday said that India will be known as a developed country in the future because of its new educational policies . He was speaking at AICTE idea lab chief mentors' conclave at DY Patil International University in Akurdi, a statement said. Sitharam further said that nowadays students are intelligent and can develop technology while sitting in the classroom.

This instills a passion for education in them, so it is appropriate for educational institutions to take the initiative to set up more such labs across the country," he said, adding the demand is alwasy for quality and skilled students. The programme was presided over by Prabhat Ranjan, chairperson of AICTE Idea Lab National Committee. Ranjan said the university, without taking financial assistance from govt, used its own resources to create one of the best digital fabrication facilities in India, which was used for this conclave.
