Everton are looking ahead to what could be their busiest summer transfer window for some time. With The Friedkin Group now overseeing things and David Moyes clearly the man to take the Toffees forward, there is plenty to get excited about. One man who remains on the list of targets on Merseyside is Tom Fellows, who Everton are keen to poach from West Brom.

TFG won’t want to go overboard, having just got the Toffees back to a position of financial stability, but money will be available to be spent to upgrade the squad too.
Fellows was on Moyes’ list of targets for the winter transfer window, although nothing ever materialised with the two sides struggling to reach an agreement over his services.Nevertheless, the Scotsman is not backing down in his pursuit and, according to EFL Analysis (20 April), West Brom do expect the attacker to leave The Hawthorns in the summer transfer window.Graeme Bailey told the news outlet (20 April) that Fellows is most likely to make the move to Merseyside, with a sale being of benefit to West Brom financially.
“The expectation at West Brom is that Fellows will go, if they get promoted there is a chance he stays but PSR wise – the sale would really help,” Bailey said.“Fellows is such a talent, I really believe people who don’t watch the Championship don’t realise who good he is.“He came ever so close to joining Everton and David Moyes in the January and from what I am told he will likely move to Goodison/Bramley Dock this summer.

The 21-year-old has the most assists in the Championship as it stands and if it wasn’t Everton, there would no doubt be another club ready to take his services at a higher level.

With comparisons to Nottingham Forest having been made, there is the expectation that the Scotsman could be the man to start a revolution at Everton.Fellows would be a good start, though, and what’s more, bringing in a name that has been a target of Moyes personally will show a statement from the owners that the boss will be backed and things are changing on Merseyside. The post Everton most likely destination for 'Wonderful' Championship star - report appeared first on Goodison News.
