As the summer is drawing closer and hopes for warmer weather continue, Essex's mammoth inflatable obstacle course on water has reopened. Water parks are in huge demand over the summer months, with families hoping to cool off with a bit of light-hearted fun in the water. Lakeside’s Aqua Splash Park, home to 30 inflatable obstacles on Alexandra Lake, will soon reopen for the summer.
The park opened on May 24 and is set to run through the summer before closing on September 21. The water park features include its signature obstacles like the Mammoth, Blast Bags, and the Monkey Dome. They also have the 'crowd-favourite' Summit - of one of the biggest slides on the park, along with the blast bag.

You have to be able to pull yourself up out of the water, and it can be tiring. Children aged 8 to 15 years old inclusive must have either an over 18 adult/guardian supervising and observing from the shore, or on the Aqua Park with them for the duration of the session.
16 years old and over can attend any session without supervision. The Aqua Park is situated at Alexandra Lake, Lakeside Shopping Centre. The park said on Facebook: "Get ready for another summer of big splashes, belly flops, and unbeatable fun on the water.

The park is incredibly popular when the weather gets warmer
