The world famous flight team will attend a popular Kent airshow

It is an exciting time to be a fan of the Red Arrows as the awe-inspiring RAF team will be making a return to Kent this year. At the start of April, the Red Arrows , which includes an appearance at the popular Headcorn Battle of Britain Airshow. Taking place across two dates, Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, this will mark the 10th time the popular event has been held.

A weekend jam-packed with aviation entertainment, guests can look forward to displays from World War II era aircraft, re-enactments and family-friendly attractions. The Red Arrows are booked to perform on the Sunday, bringing their iconic choreographed routines to the Kent skies once more in a display that is sure to dazzle the crowds. An exact flight path for the team and time for their display is yet to be announced, with details to be confirmed closer to the event.



A number of other incredible aircraft are confirmed to be taking part in the weekend event as well, including Dakotas, Spitfires, Harvards and rare Hurricanes. Organisers for the event have said: “We’re looking forward to engines roaring and crowds cheering for some one-of-a-kind air displays in the very airspace where the Battle of Britain took place over 80 years ago.” Alongside the main airshow, there will be a schools, recruiting, veterans and seniors’ day on Friday, June 27 from 10am until 2pm as the aircraft are arriving.

Additionally, The Big Cat Sanctuary is holding the ‘Wings and Whiskers’ fundraising event featuring live music from Miss Holiday and The Swingtones, a five-piece jazz, jive and swing band, accompanied by a selection of food trucks and a bar. Taking place at 7pm on the Saturday evening, guests are invited to wear their best 1940’s inspired attire to be in with a chance to win the best dressed guest prize. If that's not enough, there will be a chance to see a real Spitfire up-close at the fundraiser, as well as an exciting raffle to take part in.

Gates will open for the airshow at 10am on both days, with the aerial displays to commence from around 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. Dogs are allowed at the event, though must be kept on leads at all times. Free car parking will be available on site and there is a café at the Aerodrome for refreshments, which will be joined by multiple other food outlets throughout the event.
