The third season of actor Shaan Groverr’s web series Dun June Ki Raat started streaming some time back on JioHotstar. The show also stars Tusshar Kapoor and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama , Shaan Groverr said that he is happy with the response for Season 3 and his work.
“From those who have been messaging me on Instagram makes me feel that they are liking it,” he said. “More importantly, like I have always said, my friends and family have loved it. The biggest thing for me is to make them proud and make them feel that I am doing something worthy of appreciation.
And I have made some really good friends on the show.” Shaan said that his bonding with Tusshar was special for a fun reason. “We used to imitate so many actors,” he said.
“We both are very good at imitations. That was a good bonding point. Then my knowledge about movies was really something he was amazed at.
He always told me, ‘Arre tum toh 1995 mein paida hue ho, phir bhi you have so much knowledge (on older films).’ Then I told him that’s the reason why I am in films because I saw all sorts of films as I was growing up.” Shaan added, “My knowledge on films of his father (Jeetendra), Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar; you name the actor and I had seen all their films.
This is how our bonding happened. We used to speak on so many films from the earlier days when he was young.” Speaking about sharing screen space with Tusshar, Shaan added, “Performing with him was very organic.
As an actor, there is some sort of hesitation while acting with other people. But with him it was never there. I have shot the maximum numbers of scenes and days with him.
In fact, I have shot maximum scenes in my life with him (laughs).
