STRATFORD — The longtime leader of a Fulton County snowmobile club made an appearance in Stratford Town Court Tuesday, accused of stealing more than $8,000 from the club he led for more than a decade. Chad Daley, former president of the Snowdrifters of Stratford, is accused of stealing $4,155 in checks made payable to the “Snowdrifters Club” by depositing them into his own personal bank account between 2018 and 2023. The case, brought by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office and New York State Police, also alleges he wrote a $3,500 Snowdrifters’ check to cash, which was endorsed and cashed by his longtime partner.
