KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor forward Faisal Halim suffered a fractured nose during their final Super League clash against Police at the MBPJ Stadium in Petaling Jaya on Saturday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor forward Faisal Halim suffered a fractured nose during their final Super League clash against Police at the MBPJ Stadium in Petaling Jaya on Saturday.The 27-year-old, nicknamed Mickey, sustained the injury in the 55th minute following a collision with Police captain Faith Friday Obilor, whose elbow appeared to strike his face.Selangor later confirmed the injury in a statement, revealing that an ENT specialist had diagnosed a fractured nasal bone with mucosa laceration.

Faisal will undergo conservative treatment and continue to be monitored, but has been cleared to keep playing."There is no risk preventing him from continuing to play," the club said in a post on their official Facebook page on Sunday.Despite the incident, the Red Giants ended their season on a high, sealing a 2-0 win with second-half goals from Alvin Fortes (49th minute) and Yohandry Orozco (90+2).
