Here is the final grade and season review for Philadelphia 76ers big man Andre Drummond in 2024-25.

The 2024-25 season is in the books for the Philadelphia 76ers, which means it is the time to look back on the season that was for each player. The Sixers finished 24-58 as they missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 season amid a slew of injuries. The Sixers used a grand total of 30 players throughout the season and an NBA record 53 starting lineups.

This series will focus on the 15 players on standard deals and the three on two-way deals to finish the season--not anybody who finished the season on a 10-day deal.Up next in this series is big man Andre Drummond. The Sixers brought back the 2-time All-Star for his second stint in Philadelphia, but just like everybody else, he was limited by a bothersome injury and he only played 40 games.

Drummond dealt with a left toe sprain for a majority of the season that limited him in many ways. Here is a look back at the 2024-25 season that was for Drummond:Drummond's 2024-25 statsCategoryPPGRPGAPGSPGBPGFG%Drummond's numbers7.37.

550%Drummond's season overviewDrummond provided the Sixers what they were looking for when he was available which was rebounding and solid production around the basket on the offensive end in the pick-and-roll game. With that being said, it was a bit of a down year for him in terms of rebounding. His 7.

8 rebounds per game were well below his career average of 12.1. That can be attributed mostly to the toe injury, but when considering he will be 32 before the 2025-26 season begins, one has to wonder if he is beginning to decline at this stage of his career.

Drummond's highlightsThe best performance Drummond had came in a March 3 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers when he went for 25 points and 18 rebounds. He looked like himself, at least for a night, and had a dominant performance against Portland rookie Donovan Clingan.Final gradeDrummond will be viewed as a disappointment by most, but realistically, if Joel Embiid was healthy and the Sixers got this type of production out of Drummond, then he did his job.

The Sixers were just hit by a ton of injuries and were unable to really piece anything together and keep things moving in a positive direction. While the notion of a decline is fair, one has to believe that Drummond's production wouldn't be a topic of conversation if they were healthy.Final grade: B-plusThis article originally appeared on Sixers Wire: Final 2024-25 Philadelphia 76ers player grades: Andre Drummond.
