Here is the final grade and overview of the 2024-25 season for Philadelphia 76ers guard Lonnie Walker IV.

The 2024-25 season is in the books for the Philadelphia 76ers, which means it is the time to look back on the season that was for each player. The Sixers finished 24-58 as they missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 season amid a slew of injuries.The Sixers used a grand total of 30 players throughout the season and an NBA record 53 starting lineups.

This series will focus on the 15 players on standard deals and the three on two-way deals to finish the season--not anybody who finished the season on a 10-day deal.Up next in this series is Lonnie Walker IV who the Sixers brought back to the league from overseas at the All-Star break back in February. After a slow start getting used to being back in the states, Walker put up good numbers in the 20 games he played and it will be interesting to see how his offseason is handled.

It took him a bit as he had to get his legs back underneath of him, but he ended up scoring 20-plus points five times including scoring 31 while knocking down eight triples in the season finale against the Chicago Bulls.

He was also very good as a passer collective 5-plus assists four times including seven assists against the Toronto Raptors on March 30. Walker highlightsAs mentioned above, the best game Walker had came in the season finale. The eight 3s he made were one shy of tying the record for most 3s made by a Sixers player in a single game.

Final gradeOverall, Walker gave the Sixers a player who can create his own offense as well as make plays for others. With Philadelphia ailing a majority of the season, it needed a player like Walker to step up and produce and he did so at a productive level. He has a team option for the 2025-26 season so one has to believe the Sixers will exercise it.
