Brandon Fire and Emergency Services along with Brandon Police Service responded to a garage fire on the 300 block of Seventh Street Wednesday evening.

A 911 call came in at 7:29 p.m. about a garage that was on fire behind a house on the west side of the street.

Fire crews were able to contain the blaze to the garage, BPS said in a media release, adding the homeowner was not home at the time and no injuries were reported.
