A company has announced plans to double its revenue within the next five years. Radcliffe-based BEP Surface Technologies' five-year growth plan will include investment in innovation, sustainability, and talent development. The strategy aims to build on the capability of BEP Solutions, the company’s dedicated R&D arm, and the acquisition of Plating Solutions in 2024.
BEP Surface Technologies is focusing on the nuclear, nanotechnology, and graphene sectors, with plans to "pursue the development and delivery of pioneering coating technologies," in the words of a spokesperson. It is also working on a copper-nanodiamond composite in partnership with Finnish tech firm Carbodeon. The growth plan is supported by a recent £500,000 investment to modernise the company's electroplating operations, and the launch of its employee development programme, "Be Better".
A spokesperson for the company said that it is on course to achieve revenues of £5m by the end of the year, with a target of £8m by 2030. Andrew McClusky, managing director of BEP Surface Technologies, said: "Our strategy isn’t just about numbers. "It’s about leading the future of surface engineering.
"By investing in breakthrough technologies, acquisitions, and our people, we’re redefining what excellence looks like in our industry." BEP is certified "Fit For Nuclear" and holds ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001..
