Brooklyn’s culinary landscape is set to expand with the arrival of Fish Cheeks, which is bringing its popular Thai seafood cuisine to Williamsburg. The Noho-based restaurant, known for its Southern Thai-style curries and seafood dishes, has announced the grand opening of its second location on May 13. Located at 661 Driggs Avenue, the new venue will offer items such as spicy mango margaritas, Mama Tom Yum, and marinated raw blue crab.
The menu will closely mirror that of the original location, featuring dishes created by executive chef Dustin Everett. The Williamsburg location will offer a combination of established menu items and new additions. Among the offerings is a seafood tower featuring a variety of fresh shellfish, along with tropical cocktails prepared by head bartender Nannawat Bunphet.
According to a statement provided to Eater New York , the space includes seating for up to 74 guests within its 2,200-square-foot interior. In addition to its seafood offerings, Fish Cheeks is planning a new collaboration. Co-founders Chef Ohm Suansilphong and Chat Suansilphong are working with baker Melissa Weller to open Bub’s Bakery, a vegan and gluten-free establishment scheduled to launch in Noho later this year.
The partnership is intended to expand their culinary offerings and provide options for a broader range of dietary preferences. Jenn Saesue, co-founder of Fish Cheeks, provided details about the Williamsburg expansion in an interview with Resy . Reservations are now open for the new location, where diners will be able to order both established menu items and new dishes specific to the Williamsburg branch.
