Loyal fans were so obsessed by the 29-year-old's hair during the Euro 2020 competition that they dedicated social media pages to posting photos of his 90s-style hair. His retro look was so popular, that in the aftermath of the Euros final, John Lewis saw an uptick in searches for hairstyling products of 167 from the same week the previous year.
Jack’s new look comes as racked up a £5,000 bar bill while partying at a swanky club in London earlier this month, the day after Manchester City thumped Crystal Palace. The forward, signed in a then-record £100million deal in 2021, is said to have led friends in a 1am dance while being cheered on by onlookers at the trendy spot. In an interview with former Love Island star Josh Denzel, Jack revealed he starts off simply, with 'a little bit of shampoo' followed by conditioner, which he will leave in for a couple of minutes.
'Obviously when I get out the shower it's still a bit wet, so I dry it. Then I put Moroccan oil in it,' he adds. 'Whack the hairdryer out, get the hairbrush.
Obviously in the mirror, doing my trim and that,' he says, reenacting the blow dry and brush action. 'When I've dried it with the hairdryer, the Moroccan oil is still in there a bit, then I put hair bond in it, like a wax, to style it. And then I use hairspray, yellow got2B, at the end.
Just to hold it.'
